Charles Howorth Rare Angle Barometer Halifax Circa 1823 Description: Rare English Angle barometer by Charles Howorth, Circa 1823; inlaid mahogany case with conch shells, stylized sunburst, and edging. The face signed C. Howorth / Halifax painted with cherubs. Note: examples of his work are in the Museum of History in Oxford, the National Maritime Museum, and Bolling Hall Museum in Bradford.
